I don't mean to offend, but I still have my rights to breath fresh air.
They should have a special place to smoke where they can't harm others, but themselves

For me personally, smoking is just no-brainer, no matter how much legislation is written or debates are held. Why no stop? why rationalize? :-( well I guess everyone has their choices.

Why should I have to breathe that smoke as I pass in the street? I am asthmatic already as it is and ciggarette smoke can trigger an asthma attack I dont smoke and dont expect to be exposed to someone's smoke-If you smoke in ur own house thats ur business anywhere else should be off limits-smoking causes cancer among other things-It also pollutes the air - I dont understand how in summer time when its 95 degrees out and people have ciggs in there mouths meanwhile Im struggling just to get a breathe of air nevermind if there was a smoker nearby Im getting a polluted breathe of air

I'm not a smoker but I feel like it should be up to the smoker where they want to smoke. The government is making ALL of these ridiculous laws and this is supposed to be a free country. I think if they want to smoke on the streets it's ok but don't throw you nasty butt on the ground, dispose of it properly...

what about the rights of smokers!!

You now get to breath fresh air in your home, office, pub, mall. They have rights too! they are human beings afterall. Yes, I do believe they can smoke outdoors, if this bugs you, then I suggest you move away from the smoke.

Look, there are 9 different types of lung cancer. Only one type is caused by smoking. Only 10% of smokers die from lung cancer. But the anti-smoking population would have you believe that EVERYBODY dies because of cigarette smoke! That's their agenda. They are selfish, misinformed and intolerable. I have rights too you know. It is legal you know. This entire second hand smoke "study", is based on BAD science. That's when I first realized our country was in BIG trouble, was when they started to pass laws based on political correctness and bad science, instead of FACTS.

You have been misinformed by your own government into thinking second hand smoke is so bad. And if the leadership of this country continues making laws based on bad science, it will lead to the downfall of our country.

And THAT is what REALLY concerns me!

{Who's next??? Fat people.....black people..... tall people.....ugly people.......religious people......gerbils?????? Where will it end??????????????????????????????????????]

I'm not a smoker, but I think you should be worried about breathing in all that exhaust from vehicles.

You should consider how rude your breathing is. Look, I'm trying to smoke here, do you mind stop breathing? You could carry a cylinder of oxygen and a mask around with you.
