When things don't work (e.g. PC) or when people talk rubbish

I only swear when I'm drunk or angry. I have 2 kids and HATE when people swear around them, I also HATEwhen you hear kids swear! There's so many people who will swear just cuz they think it sounds good and makes them look hard, the truth is swearing is instilled as a taboo in most people from school and family and so should only come out as an emotional reflex, like when angry. However, many people use swearing as I've said, to 'look hard', as rebellion against whatever, grow up!

When I was in high school it was fashionable...particularly for me because my parents or any of my relatives never did. So I was measuring up to my peers. One of my goals though was to have a good vocabulary. I even subscribed to Readers Digest because of their vocab section.
At any rate suffice it to say that a comparable command of the English language, and a desire to always be respectful steered me completely away from being foul mouthed.

Maybe once in a blue moon.

The only time I swear is when I'm driving alone and I will use words that I would never use in public. It's a bit silly really for it's the only time no one can hear me.

Only too frequently unfortunately, but it's never meant to offend, just lazy use of the English language, and never when I'm drunk - I don't drink!
