yes. even today there are classless society all over the world. class will be the manifestation of exploitation, not civilization. All religious sects preach equality. the tenets of democracy are also includes equality. when democracy reigns there is equality and when there is equality the is no class that stratify society.

If there were a catastrophe, no one would have anything. Those starving remnants would wish for some structure again. Hunger, cold and despair would be the great equalizers.

yes, its called a graveyard. as for the living no, human nature will always prevail, one man will always try to get ahead and control another. Its human nature, the one thing that crosses all boundaries, lines, cultures, political systems, religious systems, its the one thing that we all have in common and ties us all together.

It was tried with Communism. It doesn't work because there is a lack of motivation to improve ones self.
