I was a teen-ager in the 70's. I had Led Zepplin IV album cover opened to the inside, a poster that came in the Rolling Stones album Goat's Head Soup, Christmas lights, pictures of bats.............I was a little strange.

Just got off the phone to my friend after having one-of-those-days, and we just complained and moaned about a million and one things. It was good to get it all off my chest! I get through one complicateted thing easy, then bang! i get a stab in the heart with a slight twist as well. I am so fed up of battling against this hard life, i go out of my way to help people, even get on with my life well, and im always the one whom seems to pay the price for everything. Im getting no wear, if eel like im running a constent treadmill.

Are people who smack their kids justified, or do they do it because they are frustrated and angry and don't know how to resolve family issues without getting physical?

Are children who get smacked more likely to do the same to their own kids?

We are in the 21st century. We have wonders of technology. Humanity overall has evolved society far from barbarism. Space looms on our horizon as a new adventure. Medicines are curing diseases. We have great thinkers who come up with awe-inspiring ideas. Yet with all this people still fight over the lowest filth in the world, only talk about how to create or address conflicts. We should be flying and instead we try to throw ourselves into the mud and waste of humanity. WHY? Why does some dip have to come along and start a huge fight about "Intelligent Design should be taught in science class!" despite it's total lack of anything scientific? Why do people turn and attack or kill others for not believing the same ghost stories? With all we have in common and to look forward to why do we always tear society apart for the most base and stupid reasons????

There is somone in this question and answer site named jetty who is personally attacking me and i dont know why, there saying things like get off welfare and go pick cotton and i shouldn't spend all my welfare money at walmart. I'm not even on welfare. is it because I'm black? whats your opinion?

I am fair skin and I appear to be hispanic but I'm not, I'm mult-racial and my husband is a darker skin hispanic (FYI). Anyhow, we were at a restaurant a few weeks ago and overheard a caucasion male talking about "interracial dating and marriage" of course this conversation wasn't appropriate but we heard everything and it was really disturbing. He went on to say that races shouldn't mix for the sake of their kids and because the "colored" spouse will never "actually" be accepted and neither will the kids and this creates family problems. We have never experienced any type of discrimination against our relationship but I was bothered. My question is, how many people in the world feel this way? and what is your take on "interracial marriage and families"? HONESTLY!
