Male. The only Lex's I've every known are male. Well, I've heard of two male Lex's - Lex Luthor and Lex out of The Tribe (brilliant show, why isn't it on anymore!)

I don't instantly see anything but when I think I came up with female. Lex as in Lexi I suppose. I can't imagine Lex to mean a male at all.

A male is Lex and female is Lexi I would say.

Lex Luther from Superman (male) and Lex from that sifi series(female).
There again it could be short for Alexis. (female)
So male or female.
