Here's an article relating to the abortion pill http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/20060915/hl_afp/healthbritainmedicineabortion_060915142230

While it states that in Britain abortions are still not decreasing despite it's availability, it has helped with abortion rates in the U.S.

Here's my question. One of the biggest reasons why pro-choice advocates do not want restrictions placed on abortion is because that would not allow exceptions for cases like rape and incest. What I have to wonder is, that if the availability is there to use this pill in those cases and abortions still are not significantly going down, is abortion primarily being used as a method of birth control? If so, doesn't it seem more logical to encourage women who are not ready for children to find ways to prevent the pregnancies from occuring?

What's your thoughts on this?

How can we reduce unwanted pregnancies without abortions?

Many japanese so easily get attracted to what everyone else is doing. I thin it's because of the "group culture" they have. So they see hip hop is popular.. so now they do it.. I haven't fallen into anything, man i thank god i'm a loner cause i don't fall into anything.. no hip hop , no drugs.. no sex. But well anyways they do. And because hip hop has gained popularity, many black guys are going to japan and taking advantage of Japanese girls, black guys are seen as gods of hip hop, and they use that to get girls. I'm sure they are having sex with them. Take a look at this video of a club scene:

One of my co-workers is extremely jealous of me because I work in the office with our boss and he occasionally takes me to lunch. This co-worker works on the production line so the only time our jobs interline is when he needs me to order parts or he tells me what is ready to be shipped. Yesterday I asked him what was ready to go and he forget to tell me of one shipment on purpose. Just at the time when the truck came to pick up the goods he mentioned this shipment and said to me" you didn't prepare it" -I said "no you didin't tell me about it" and he said "our boss wanted it to go" and gave me a funny look and walked away. Today he complained to our boss that I wasn't keeping up with ordering parts but he purposely put a different date on his entry saying he had entered it early than he had. I looked at the list yesterday the 14th and there was nothing new on it and today he has a number of things on it and the date entered as Sept 13th when he only entered them today ! what do !

When we were kids playing games, when we screwed up we would shout "do-over!" . If you had the opportunity to "do-over" any part or all of your life, what would you change, or "do-over"?

I'm a native Floridian--tenth-generation Cracker--and I have the twang in my voice to prove it. It's also the Southernmost state in the continental US, and my father's relatives are all proud to be Southern. So why would someone say something like, as I got today, "Florida is the southernmost Yankee state?"

My mother-in-law repeatedly when to look and there was no one there. But he kept insisting there was.
Any explanation? They're both reasonably sane. Past tense for him.

I believe that my roommate is seriously screwing me over. We've been living together for 4 months now, and I've been working really hard to keep up my end of the bills (and maintaining without a doubt). I basically wind up giving him all the money from my checks and begging him for extra spending money. I've just started thinking about it more, and I realized that I only half to give him a certain amount a week to break even. Now I think he's taking my money and spending it himself. I'm going to do research to check to see if this is true. But my question is if this is proven to be true, should I leave my work and my school behind and just leave, or should I stay and start working out my finances in the way I want to whether he likes it or not? I would be so crushed if he's done this to me...

I open doors for people, let older people on buses first, get up on trains/buses if there are no seats left for older people or people with children...
I usually only ever get dirty looks and no thank you...
I'm 19, and a girl...i make an effort be polite to older people, and i seem to get no respect or anything in return! A thank you costs nothing!
Does any one else get this?
