the council say that they can't help get rid of a gang of youths outside my flat drinking unless i can provide names and addresses and the police who can get names and addresses aren't interested in helping. is it any wonder our streets are over-run with yobs!

I already have a dog. I can;t find out where they live with out confronting them and asking for their names and addresses. would you go up to 5 or 6 six foot something youths who had been drinking and ask them!?

You used the words council , flat and yobs so I will presume you are in the UK . I don't have an answer to your immediate problem but you could look at it this way. They had the same problem in Romeo & Juliet so it is part of your culture and heritage! I hope I at least put a smile on your face!

you know what I did , I got 2 bloody big dogs. I was burgled 5 times in 7 years so I got 2 massive dogs and apart from being pets they are guard dogs.

Contact your MP. Go to your local paper. (You don't want to have your name and photo in the paper, though.) But write letters to the editor.
