Why is the government so bent about obesity? I'm wondering if they tried looking at the REAL reasons why so many hundreds of people are obese?
There is also much media coverage on the nation's biggest, tv-surgery showing liposuction and stomach ops, and hundreds of programmes that shout out the harmfulness of the contents of peoples' fridges and cupboards, not to mention daily diets. It torments the minds of some that are trying to lose wieght. Why is there so much coverage on it?
The people that really suffer are semi-overweight, overweight, or 'overweight' people who get super-paranoid about their figures and eating habits, making themselves ill.
And then the concerns about bullemia and anorexia are barely given as much focus. Why?
By the way I'm not obese but have been overweight in my past. Many women like me have real bodies (hourglass figures; curves toboot), have been recent targets for the 'FAT' label, when some of us only wear sizes 14/16. Why?
