You didn' t mention what he was doing, i.e working two jobs as well or just being a bum. There is no reason for someone to go crazy for something like that. I have worked two jobs at one time before and it takes a toll on you. So yes you should have left he stole all the money. Hope you get better. Good Luck

Violence needs no explanation, because the obvious actions are the explanation. If you need an explanation here it is:
1. I am crazy and I need help! You cannot help me, you are not a doctor or therapist!
2. I will hurt you when I feel powerless, because it makes me feel powerful for a little while if i hurt you!
3. Abuse is taught and learned by abusers. For the cycle of abuse to be broken we need to reform as a society. If you are not a social reformer on par with Martin Luther King, Jesus Christ, or Ghandi, anotherwords a Saint!, then you cannopt help!!!!!!
4. Women who stay in abusive relationships are often murdered!
5. Their children are often sexually, physically and emotionally abused as well!
6. You need to seek counseling, in all likelihood to help you see why you should not tolerate abuse!
God Bless and Good Luck! Never take him back and always use birth control!

You think you're going to work things out with someone who stole your money and led you on a chase, and sent you to the hospital? He had a chance to explain himself before he took the money and split. Am I missing something here?

Saving your life and self-respect is more important than trying to work things out with an abusive spouse.

You did the right thing...doesn't sound to me like he was in any shape to talk...other than with his fists.

Stay away from him...or you may invite further problems...he obviously needs a lot of help.
