kaylas needs to be quiet.
i used to be very fat. i am also very tall. made for an awful picture. i got tired of the way i looked and started working out ... got into body building and have been doing it for 15 years. but i was never lazy. i worked very hard but i just ate to much and at the wrong times and the wrong foods. some people eat because they are depressed and food makes them think they feel better. although some do make excuses for their weight and thats just because they can't accept that they did it to themselves. it's a pity really.

Making dietary changes is your first line of defense in treating hypothyroidism. Learn here https://tr.im/HsAb2

Many people with hypothyroidism experience crippling fatigue and brain fog, which prompts reaching for non-nutritional forms of energy like sugar and caffeine. I’ve dubbed these rascals the terrible twosome, as they can burn out your thyroid (and destabilize blood sugar).

1. Just say no to the dietary bungee cord. Greatly reduce or eliminate caffeine and sugar, including refined carbohydrates like flour, which the body treats like sugar. Make grain-based carbohydrates lesser of a focus, eating non-starchy vegetables to your heart’s content.

2. Up the protein. Protein transports thyroid hormone to all your tissues and enjoying it at each meal can help normalize thyroid function. Proteins include nuts and nut butters; quinoa; hormone- and antibiotic-free animal products (organic, grass-fed meats, eggs, and sustainably-farmed fish); and legumes.

Well, I can see that stereotyping is alive and well on this site today. I used to be overweight. I didn't blame my weight problem on any medical condition - even though I did have a thyroid problem. I knew I just overate. It took me four years, but I lost 104 lbs and have kept it off.

I'm sorry, but posts like yours drive me crazy. Why people insist on putting all fat people, all black people, all whatever people in a box and just slapping a label on them is beyond me.

There are a few medical conditons that can cause obesity. Thyroid problems are just one of them.
Some people also have a genetic predisposition to be obese. They don't eat as much as you would think, yet they still become obese.
Also, chronic illness can cause people who would otherwise be active, to be sedentary, and if they don't limit their food intake, they will wind up with excess weight.
Depression can cause some people not to care anymore, or they eat to feel good about themselves.
That being said, you can't get fat unless you lift fork to face. I find it hard to drum up much sympathy for those who are morbidly obese.

They most likely are embrsd. You can't blame them for being ashamed if today's society portrays beautiful as some stick with nice skin and a gunk of make up and camera lights. Oh well, I don't give anything to what society thinks. I don't lack confidence but I'm surely not a stick with a gunk of make up! : ) They learn to live with themselves one way or another.

Most obese people I know don't have a thyroid problem.. I've actually only known 1 person w/ a thyroid problem.. Most who are obese just have bad eating habits, and lack excercise... It's just hard to admit things about yourself that you don't like..

Many heavy people blame their glands. The very few who do have this problem would starve while they're fat.
Hitler starved millions, in order to have less to burn in the ovens. None of them had glands.
Food makes fat- - - less food, less fat
