If we are to follow and believe in the darwinian outlook on evoltion, who is to say that anything that humans do is wrong. Take for examle on a simple level wind farms. Humans have developed themselves in such a way that they have the brain power and way with all to develop this "free" process of making electricity. How can this be wrong? If nature decreed it wrong to build wind farms and have that available to us, then nature would have stopped us from developing it (as per evolution principles... brightests and strongest survive). Then we woudnt have all the nimbyism going on. On a higher but equally valid level, nuclear power/weapons. Would it not be true therefore that if nature did not want this it would stop us from developing? Perhps it is part of the evolutionary plan that we have all these "bad" things, but who has the right to pick and chose what we invent? Fire is bad, but without it also being good where would we be. What are you thoughts on this line of thinking?

Most religions claim to have an account of makind's beginning as well as its end. And along with that religion's "history" of the world, there are the guidelines to living in accordance to that particular sect and how everyone else is in peril. What do you think? Who has the real "scoop"? Or is religion just another competition for the minds of people?

i thinks its really interesting and it scares me the way women see themselves and treat other women today. its like feminism has regressed.
Something scary like 70% of 1000 13-17 years old girls want to be glamour models, lap dancers...only 3% polled wanted to be teachers or doctors. how scary?

My wife and I live in a block of 40 flats.

Set in an oasis of quiet in a bad neighbourhood.

We both work, me nights and her days.

3 other people in the complex also work (we see them leave every day).

There are 40 homes, with people in, and we never see them.

We have been here 3 years.

We can see and here ALL the commings and goings from our front room and bedroom.

Who are these people?

What are they doing?

My wife works local and says the place is full of weirdo's, but I work out of town and have not seen this.

We feel like we live in Silent Hill or something.

Bad things happen alaround our complex, shootings, muggings, violence of all sorts.

But nothing ever happens here, and our flat is bang in the middle of it all.

Whats going on?

Advise please, as it's a little unnerving.

because the "86" is slang term that means "kill," or "murder." If you have been 86'd, you have been killed or murdered.
Is that why the abortion drug is called RU486. "Are you for murdering children?"

Then in the prision she demanded to die. She was so unhappy! This happend in 199? and it was in United States. I think it was a popular notice. Now I don't have the book and also don't remember the state. Could anybody say me the name of this woman? I would like to read more about. Finaly she got it. She is dead.

Even I haven't been able to come up with a satisfactory answer for the somewhat cryptic naming convention used for mobile phones.
