Think of personal letters sent fifty years ago. They were full of eloquent vocabulary and proper grammar. Also, think of Mozart's 7th Symphony. Now, compare these things to e-mails sent today and pop music, respectively. Are we in regression?

Of the preference you chose, is that the way you mother acted as well? I hear that men like women who remind them of their mothers and it seems true. for one teen pregnancy hasnt been happening for 20 years...im 21 and have no kids...
for 2...dont blame your parents for the way you are because its not their fault 10 to 1 they did the best they could and you were just all messed up...
for 3...if you have nothing nice to say...then why waste your time and sit on the comp and be a total disrespectfull person?
for 4....teen pregnancy isnt cool...half the young kids are having babies to show off!!and 10 to 1 their parents will raise them...
for 5...alocohol and drugs arent cool...wats the excuse of people doing that?oh my mother didnt care about me!!!Bullshit not true..bet you you were just uncontrolable...because of the people you hung out with...im sick and tired of hearing people blame everything on their parents how bout you take admission for the things you do...and grow up!!

I was reading in to this new book from a one bill O'Reilly, and I was thinking about how other people view the direction the America society and culture is going.

I personally think my country is going to hell in a hand basket. I believe we have become much too weal on the important stuff and far too hard on the unimportant stuff. We allow out judges to let pedophiles walk but we allow people to sue fast food places for making them fat. We punish those who believe in the christen god (the ones who are not asses) but you cannot say the truth that Islam can easily be twisted to be anti every one.

It is because of these problem and many others that I plan to make my way to congress and hopefully help fix these problems.

So what do you think?

I mean I'm East Indian and I'm rarely attracted to East Indian guys. I like (instead) white guys, black guys, latinos. But then again I dont look like the typical Indian girl (practically hairless, no dark eye circles, no frizzy hair).. I've been asked if I'm latina or mixed before even though I'm like a lighter Tyra Banks color. Its just that all my Indian friends love Indian guys and they think all my tastes suck. I'm sick of HUGE, FAT people telling me that "cars" are too small for them, so they "need" to drive an SUV. That is the number one excuse I get when I ask someone why they drive such a terrible vehicle for the envirenment.

I don't know it seems today that society downplays the value of one's virginity.So many young people I have spoken to have stated they are and have been for some time sexually active. I know many don't agree but I believe it's a credit to your character to be able to abstain from sexual acts. I'm not rationalizing being a virgin, but I don't understand why so many believe they NEED to have sex in order to appease anyone else. A true sign of unreedeming qualities would be the ability to denounce pleasures of the flesh, but I don't see any restraint in todays society aside from certain virginal organizations. I think it's a measure of intelligence and self respect to abstain from sexual intercourse until at least marriage or with someone you love very dearly. One major question: besides the obvious reasons for procreation, why are so many concerned with intercourse and sexual acts? Is this the new measure of character and personhood in todays society? How many partners is too many?

Well, I am Black and this guy [ whom is white ] finally asked me out and i said yes. The problem is that both of our families don't like the idea of crossing the "ethnic barrier".We are determined to make this work out though. This is my first time to even post anything on the Internet. I don't know what the hot web sites are or where you go to hear anything unless it is the regular news.
