I mean I'm East Indian and I'm rarely attracted to East Indian guys. I like (instead) white guys, black guys, latinos. But then again I dont look like the typical Indian girl (practically hairless, no dark eye circles, no frizzy hair).. I've been asked if I'm latina or mixed before even though I'm like a lighter Tyra Banks color. Its just that all my Indian friends love Indian guys and they think all my tastes suck. What do you think?

I'm a firm believer that you love who you love. It doesn't matter what the race or color of a person is, as long as your happy and that person can compliment what it is you have to offer, then that should be all that ever matters. So many folks shun people who date out of their race, but let not the world dictate who you are and whom you date. Beauty and happiness is truly in the eye of the beholder

Attraction isn't always based on physical appearance. I had a friend in high school who was Phillapinno, (sorry for the crappy spelling), and she wasn't attracted to guys of her race. She said the reason was that all the Philappino guys she had met had very sexist attitudes. *shrug* All this to say, tastes are individual.

I think it's wrong if you're not attracted to ANYONE in your own race. No one can help who they love, and that's a good thing, but to say you wouldn't give someone of your own race a chance is something a lot of us can't understand. Love who you want, but don't rule out your own race. Keep an open mind in any case.

i dont think its wrong. my friend is persian and not attracted to most persian men. so i dont see a prob with it..
