I have. I won't say when , but at one point in my life , i was to be incarcerated for a very long time. I recieved a second chance since this was my first major offense. After i was released from jail, a friend and I traveled around to speak to others who chose MY path to walk. I've steered some to a good side of life but not all I talked with. I went to the ,belowthe GUTTER and came back. I really like who I am now but will always have a PAST. Start loking forward and not back, sometimes Life throws a curve ball,, dig in and take a swing, you could get the hit of YOUR life

I only know of 2 persons who have had a felony. One is my husband. He was only 17 when he got in trouble. He decided when we married he wanted it off his record. He got all the proper paper work and received a full pardon. In order to do this, you must have a clean record for 10 years ,which he did. The other person was his ex-wife( I know this sounds crazy) She still has a felony but was only in prison in 2002. So she is having to live with it. My husband is now enjoying all the rights of every other citizen.

Yes. I have an acquaintance who went to prison for 8 years because he was on drugs when his house burned down, the fire killing his 4 children. He was so messed up he just managed to get himself out of the house.
He now has finished college, is drug-free, and has been a successful social worker, drug counselor, and an assisted living director.
