This is my first time to even post anything on the Internet. I don't know what the hot web sites are or where you go to hear anything unless it is the regular news. I am educated but behind the times when it comes to trends. Any suggestions on where to go to get up to speed? Any suggestions are appreciated.

Subscribe to Scientific American, for starters. It may not be the best general interest science magazine out there, but it is pretty good. Also, read a weekly newsmagazine as well as the daily paper. And learn how to use Google.
