Why not green or red?

Actually, I think the color for cops should be black and blue.

Not all cops wear blue, some do wear green, brown, and black. Red wouldn't work, because it would stand out way to much.

Because they help maintain harmony in society through the processes of law enforcement. BLUE is the core color for harmony.

because blue is kind of like a good guy's color and red is kind of a bad guys color..

Arbitrary. Some cities are going brown to avoid corruption. Keeps the blue only out.

Maybe it's to induce feelings of calm....then again, maybe the dark color is to hide the bulges from all the donuts......

they use dark colors so they can blend in and sneak up on ya lol
