i thinks its really interesting and it scares me the way women see themselves and treat other women today. its like feminism has regressed.
Something scary like 70% of 1000 13-17 years old girls want to be glamour models, lap dancers...only 3% polled wanted to be teachers or doctors. how scary?

It was a fascinating study but I felt it didn't address the girls who are perfectly happy being "normal" kids. I have neices who are bright and funny and wonderful and they don't want to be models (one is majoring in science and the other wants to be a high school teacher).

It's the over saturation of models and the glamorization of lap dancers in videos and magazines that confuses young girls and I think Levy should have balanced her book with more from the type of girls I know.

That said, I think the book was a very good read and it had me thinking about how I represent myself as a woman.
