It depends.
After many years in the work force I finally got out of the everyday physical labor grind. I now sit in an office and get fatter by the day.
Oh how I long to be young and fit again.
It is possible to get work and/or promotions that will take you away from some of the physical labor, but it will probably always seem to be like you are wasting time making other people rich, unless of course you start your own business. Then you can work 14 hours a day 6-7 days a week, but at least it is all for you or your dependents if you work yourself into an early grave.
Gee, I guess I seem a little pessimistic.

You will be much better after a few days. It's hard when you work your first 8 hour shirt or 40 hour week. It gets easier, trust me! Your brain just has to get used to constant thinking all day - that really does take more energy than lifting/etc.

I think you should do a career change and be a tatoo artist and the only tatoo you will do is bar codes on peoples butts. I think it would be popular especially if you could design it so you can scan it at the register and then bag it in the end. hehehe

You will get use to it. Over time and with familiarity with your position, you will become stronger with more stamina. Things will become more automatic. You may always feel busy, but in that the day will go quicker as well... Good luck!

Perfect example of why drugs are so rampant in our country. Work your **** dimples off & then can't buy a pair of shoes. Does something to the psyche, it does.
Never gets any better, I'm afraid.

Get a different job, that sound like it sucks! Look at all your co-workers who have been there a year or more and take a wild guess!
