I mean apart from not knowing how to use an alarm clock or being a real d***k and not caring to be punctual;
what is it that some people are always late to turn up for work or for an event or an appointment ... is there a logical or psychological explanation to that?

Does anyone know of a surefire way of getting rid of them? I've tried starving them, poking them with a stick, those sprays you can get from harware shops: 'monstaway' and such like. But the little buggers won't shift. They've been there for years.

An episode of The Twilight Zone where these people with pig faces were trying to surgically alter the looks of this pretty girls face scared me so bad that everytime I heard the theme music I would run screaming and crying (my sister used to hum the music just to watch me cry, we laugh about it now). Now I enjoy watching the show and actually get the messages behind them.

Our country just aint not that united anymore. Especially the north states, like new york and ohio and michigan. They don't want anythin to do with this country, and there always talking about themselves. But here in the south were a big family and still united, but the rest of the country is just not careing any more. Why can't ya'll up north come together again?

The US contributes more money to Israel each year than it would take to give excellent health care to every citizen, and so far I have received no good reason for it, and it is for the most part covered up. Please do not twist scripture to defend a warped foriegn aid policy. God does not need our tax dollars to complete some mysterious plan about which the best Bible scholars can not even agree, and the blessing given to Abraham was given b4 Hagar was driven out and God also gave that blessing to the Arabs so we have our nose in the oldest family feud on earth taking sides. This question is not about taking sides it is about giving tax dollars to an economically sound, country rather than taking care of our own disabled and wounded. Veteran healthcare is disgraceful, many citizens have no health care, we blame exporting jobs saying it is because we do not pay foriegners healthcare helping us compete. I do not know for sure but it seems like another energy lobby strategy ripe off

I am american, but my parents are frm mexico. My first language was spanish. I have an accent, and i like to talk with it, make fun accents.. yeah sometimes i try to talk like what is considered standard american accent, but i don't like it, it's just not me. My english is completely understandable even with the accent, but i feel that people discriminate me because i don't conform to the standard accent. Here's what i get:
-companies think i'm mexican who doesn't speak english and dn't want to hire me
-even if i'm hired, they all treat me like i'm different
-in hospitals, eye doctor or whatever, even hispanics working there will listen to me, and just because i don't talk with standard english accent they start speaking spanish. They fail to understand my spanish is even worse than my english..what a bunch of dummies.
-Foreign people( japanese/chinese) will see me as not american, and thereofre they don't want to be friends with me because i'm supposedly not american.

Why do you think you rememebred it? How do you feel about it now as opposed to then? I remember a spelling test in the 3rd grade when the teacher said the word and a sentence. I thought she wanted the WHOLE sentence on our papers and not just the word. I had to rush really fast and couldnt keep up. I got a bad score on my test because I didnt understand. None of my teachers before her did it that way and she didnt explain. It still makes me made to this day because I feel like she was indirect and I got a bad grade because of it! Yeah, that's stupid, I know.
