Why do you think you rememebred it? How do you feel about it now as opposed to then? I remember a spelling test in the 3rd grade when the teacher said the word and a sentence. I thought she wanted the WHOLE sentence on our papers and not just the word. I had to rush really fast and couldnt keep up. I got a bad score on my test because I didnt understand. None of my teachers before her did it that way and she didnt explain. It still makes me made to this day because I feel like she was indirect and I got a bad grade because of it! Yeah, that's stupid, I know.

That same thing happened to me in 1st grade I think. I figured it out in time but I got really stressed about it.

In 3rd grade my teacher wrote 'See me' on one of my papers and a frowny face and I thought the frowny face was supposed to be a picture of her disapproval of me or something, at getting too many answers wrong

A girl I used to play with said 'brown hair only grows this long' 'blonde hair doesnt grow as long' and 'black hair grows the longest' or something like that

At naptime a girl talked to me and I told her shh it's naptime and I got in trouble for it and had to stand up in front of the whole class as punishment for the rest of naptime

Why do you think you rememebred it? How do you feel about it now as opposed to then? Because they were painful experiences, and first experiences of injustice

Kind of like the clod of dirt in the road, meant to trip the next passerby

I remember as a kid wondering what was in "Trix" breakfast cereal. In the television commercials, the kids wolf down all the Trix and the rabbit gets nothing. So I wondered if there was some saltpeter or psychotropic drug in the cereal that made people mean and stingy.

I'm still not sure about it.

I remember the "Mareseatoatsandgoatseatoatsandlittlelambseativy" song. I heard it on The Kukla, Fran and Ollie show. It made me feel smart to be able to sing it at the time. Now it is just silly. It makes me feel kinda old.

I was about six years old,and my elderly neighbor,Juan asked me to go get him a pack of Bugler tobbaco at the grocery store. At the time, I was going bike riding with my friends, but I went. I misunderstood what he wanted and I ended up getting him this little plastic bugle.
My mom sent me back for the tobbaco.
