being home alone and hearing mysterious noises outside or in the house, scared me and froze me in my tracks.
Scared now? No
Silly then, no. I was so pure and alive , i really felt things then.

I've always been afraid of the Twilight Zone's creepy theme music. I mute it now! LOL! We didn't have that option in the old days! I've always enjoyed the show, but the music creeps me out.
I was and remain afraid of rodents. They are just ugly, nasty, creepy and carry diseases. My biggest fear is one touching me or biting me. I once worked in a school that had rats and one ran across the room inches from my foot as I wrote on the board! I actually wet my pants! (Thank God for panty sheilds!) I got all the kids out the room, marched them to the principal's office and signed out! I went down to the Bd. of Ed. and requested an immediate transfer. I won't stay in a place where I see a rodent. I had mice once in an apartment and moved out until my brother patched every hole and swore there were no droppings for a week! I moved back in with a cat! I used to run hyperventilating and screaming when I saw one. Now I can just calmly leave, but I still feel extremely nervous for a while afterward. I turn the channel or look away when I see one in movies at the theater. I just HATE them.

Well, when I was a little girl, I was afraid of the dark and the Freddy Krougher was going to come and get me.
I was also afraid of that clown from "Poltergeist". That thing REALLY scared the s-hit out of me.
(And then when I had gotten older and as a teen and saw "IT").
Does it seems silly now? Well, the dark is no problem for me but, the clowns, I am not too fond of.

I had an older cousin who terrorized me. Constantly would hunt me down, sneak up and grab me from the time I was 5. He hurt me physically and 9 times out of ten got away with it. As in pistol whipping , didn't mean to hurt me, was copying the TV..5 stitches for me. King of the Hill, a broken knee cap. Accident?? BB gun?? We moved when I was 8, he was a big mean 12 by then, I was so happy to leave I cried.
Well, I still have to stifle a scream if someone comes from behind me, or comes up to me unexpectedly. I even struck my son (automatic reflex) for coming up too quietly behind me.
I still have problems with it, though the cousin is dead.

not weird and wonderful. And my concepts on the problem are ... I easily have given up on the idea of courting and looking out that particular someone. do not take that incorrect ... i'm positive the right individual will finally come alongside and we are able to stay luckily ever after. yet i might want to fairly delight in time with my daughter than obsess over being unmarried and having pals attempt to set me up. The very last time i develop into unmarried, it lasted for further or less 2 years. (I were given requested out, yet not by employing adult men i develop into interested in.) I sometimes wanted I had someone, yet i did not enable it get to me. ... in the destiny even as i develop into strolling abode from the save with my daughter and neighbor, some guy stated hi. interior 2 weeks, he develop into my impressive chum. interior some months - i found myself contained in the most magnificent courting I easily have ever had! I easily were in this maximum magnificent courting for over a three hundred and sixty 5 days. ... All I had to do develop into save myself open to partaking in this experience referred to as existence and the right guy got here alongside on the right time. So my suggestion to each person on your difficulty: do not hardship about it. tell your associates that you're taking a destroy from courting and could enable them recognize in case you want help getting again in. Then in basic terms delight in doing issues at the same time with your son and your associates. If an exciting individual comes alongside, say hi and get to entice close them a touch. It receives a lot extra exciting once you run into the right individual :)

Everything that should have
and that California would sink into the ocean and tidal waves and bombs
It wont seem silly unless I have more money than the perpetrators, which I'm not sure I would do

I used to be afraid to sleep with the closet doors open and I had to cover my ears with the blankets because I thought that's how ghosts got into your body. No I'm not scared of closet ghosts possessing me via my ears anymore and yes, it seems silly now.

It was about looking the same as everyone else. People who looked different, were not tolerated. Sounds like today!
My fear was, and still is; heights. Absolutely terrifies me. But I do not know why. I have NO control over my fear of heights.

My family was "cursed" with ESP. I sometimes feel and see things I think I shouldn't. I hate the feeling of a restless soul watching me shower...
