Which American t .v. shows were these?

1. A rough town. One man keeps the law. One bar owner loves the man who keeps the law. ( Sunshine ADORES the man who keeps the law.)
2. A quiet, sleepy little town. The deputy usually locks himself in the cell. The sheriff is constantly bailing him out. The sheriff's son grew up to be a very important movie director.
3. A young couple live in an apartment house with funny landlords. The lady landlord loves the female tenant, like a sister. The leader of the Cuban band just plain loves her.
4. A doctor is married to a lawyer. They have 5 kids. The doctor is very funny.He seems to have more time for his family than he does for his patients. Now THAT is funny.
5. This family lives in a small house. The father is righteous. He and the Mrs. have more kids each season. The Pa used to be one of the boys on the Ponderosa.
6. They liked the way Glenn Miller played. And they liked the songs that made the Hit Parade. Boy, guys like that ,they had it made. Those were the days.

a question for other mixed people?

I had struggled most of my life with being mixed, though I do relate to one side more then the other. I have resloved it be saying "fck it" I just try being the best me I possible can. I was wondering if there are others who have struggled with this and how do you deal? What's your story?

The 'N' 'racist' word ? Q-mark?

* So,that well known word,that it is not politicaly correct to pronounce,or even post by any means possible. It is tabu...why is it I want to ask you,it is an apelative,right?
It has a co-notation,or a historical meaning,what are the so-shamed origins of this word?

Cause it seems dust has covered all this and a simple word might be pronounced with a certain tonality to instigate,and so you can see smoke,and there must be fire.

You are not an American Unless

1.You have to be able to drink beer
2. watch football
3. know less than immigrants about the history of your own country
4. be able to watch reality tv
5. drive any car no matter how crappy it is as long as it is a domestic
6. voted for Bush as president not once, but twice
7. able to believe everything the media says
8. able to say racing isn't racing unless it goes in a circle or a straight line
9. able to believe that nothing is their country's fault. The other countries made us attack them.
10. unable to know what the real concept of America stood for when it was first concieved.

What has America become.

I found this in a blog a while back. I don't remember the page. I lost the link when I cleared my browser history. The page was about how America has declined.

What do you think of this? Do you think that it is right? Is the American majority getting that bad and ignorant as it states?

in response to a stupid, immoral question asked by someone called Emily! "What do you think about all the gay people". The man who responded shuold be banned! "stab them all in the heart and let that black dank oil drain out"??? Is this acceptable. People who create this attitude should be "drained out" ! Someone should take action against these people! Why is Condoleeza Rice ignored by the black community?

I find it amazing that this confident and elloquent black woman travels the world and gets the attention and meetings with international leaders, yet she seems tto get no love from the black community. Is it because she doesnt 'keep it real' enough? That would be so dumb. Who cares if she is republican or democrat, I would think she would be a promote role model.
