You saw the movie...? It is about a totalitarian regime,they had a policy about burning books,and the so called 'rebels' had each and every one a book that represented their whole being,their spirit. It goes deeper of course.
K...a book...a book....there are more...to say one world-wide known > 'White Fang' for the purity of it.
And I would like to memorize the Bible,as someone said,just that I haven't read it yet entirely.

Be it....A Tale Of Two Cities, Brave New World, Relic, The Holy Bible, whichever!

Wow. I don't know... The Book that means the most to me is only important because I know the Author. I can't think of a book that my life would depend upon. I guess I'm more rooted in spirit than words. ?

The smaller the book the better. Probably a book of fairy tales, and I don't mean the Bible. That book of fairy tales is too long to memorize.
