He is in my computer class and asked if I wanted to go out for a drink after our last class. He is married and so am I, so I am thinking this is peculiar behavior?

No man on this earth (unless he is gay) just ask's a girl to go out for a drink. He like's you, regardless of being married or not, duh.

He may just want to be friends, but then again he might be interested in something more.....and seeing if you are, too. I would say just ask him....it might be a little awkward and he might tell you 'hey, I thought you seemed like a cool girl and wanted to have a drink and some conversation with you,' but then you'll know that he wanted more all along and you were right. I agree that it is awfully peculiar for married people to want to have drinks with another married person...I suggest you don't do it.

He may just want to be friends, but then maybe the sky is falling. He's interested in something more.....and seeing if you are, too. I would say just to tell him no...it might be a little awkward and he might tell you 'hey, I thought you seemed like a cool girl and wanted to have a drink and some conversation with you.' .....yeah right! .I don't know what you think about married people meeting for "drinks" but I say don't do it....it's called cheating...

No. I have female friends (just a few) but they are such because we slowly got to know one another over months/years and we never had a romantic interest. No man approaches a stranger or acquaintence for drinks unless they intend to take it further... and friendship is not their goal.

Think if you became friends and he introduced you to his wife like "hey honey, this is my friend" - No f-in way. Not happening.

He wants to do the bone dance with you.

it is possible for married people to have friends. you need to test him first though. to find out, tell him that even though he might think it's silly, you want to call his wife and get her permission first. if he's on the up and up, he'll laugh it off and hand over his cell phone for you to get her ok. if he looks at you like you just stole his candy, don't even think about getting the drink.

Just because you are married does not mean you have to steer clear of platonic guy friends. Just tell him you just want to be friends because you both are married (or you can tell him you only like him as a platonic friend).

No matter what they say ALL guys want to get into your pants. they will act like a friend and treat you like a friend but inside they are mentally undressing you. Even if they know nothing will happen.

If I were you I would say "No thanks" He may be having problems with his wife or something and he may want some comfort. Respect your husband and don't pay this guy any mind. This may be asking for trouble on both ends.
