1) most people in the middle east (particulary arab countires) stronlgy believe that if you get out of your house right after taking a shower/bath, you will get sick with the cold!
2) also in arab countries, they tend to blame air condtioning for stomach cramps/ache!

Most people, including christians have been fooled into thinking that the promised land was only for the "jews".

For those who believe in whatever version of the bible they chose, the promise is to ABRAHAM and his decendents NOT just jews... (decendants of Judah?).

This includes those who are now arabs, christians, muslims, communists....

Ground rules: (1) You can't say, "My wish would be to have more wishes." (2) It can't be something that is merely difficult; it has to be something ordinarily "impossible", and (3) don't give me any trouble over the assumption that this guy can do the "impossible", (4) and it has to be something irresistably tempting, the only reason you haven't succumbed to the temptation before having been that it was "impossible". (5) None of the wishes may directly involve the genie bringing some sexpot to obey all your orders-- not because it's too kinky, but because it's too sexist and too easy! Bet this is so hard (perhaps so uninteresting) that only one or two brave people will respond, but it shouldn't be impossible to do.

Someone told me the read a story about a couple who were breaking up, registered for eHarmony and got matched to each other then decided not to break up.

I'm looking for a name for a fictional street. The name needs to have something to do with a friend who is also a lover (a name from a story about something like that, whatever). I'm not very good with mythology or languages, and this stuff's kind of hard to look up. Does anyone have any ideas?

Also, I need to name a mountain pass. That name needs to signal bad, or perilous, or perilous but worthwhile. (As in, the crappy part you have to go through to get to the gold mine kind of thing).

Brad Pitt protrays death or the grim reaper. He tells Anthony Hopkins that it's "Time." Now, I know some of you are going to say, "I'm not afraid to die." Either you're a "true" Christian and you know without a shadow of a doubt, that you're most definitely going to heaven. Or you're an atheist and could care less because according to your theory, "There's no God, hence no heaven or hell." Or you're just not worried period. Honestly, I think "true" Christians wouldn't even flinch and the rest would be crying like a bunch of pig tailed little girls. Any thoughts?

With so many people having digital cameras these days on phones and other handheld devices, why are there not hundreds of clear photos of alien spaceships and creatures, Bigfoot, Loch Ness Monster, etc. I don't believe these exist, and you would think there would be overwhelming evidence by now if they did exist.
