Hi,

I am collecting material for an article to post on my blog: http://blog.egyptiangiftstore.com. I need some help with information on references to Egyptian Cartouches in American pop culture. You can see some examples of what I have found so far here: http://blog.egyptiangiftstore.com/2006/06/30/cartouche-trivia/

Thanks,
Mohamed

I've read in the past that a few witches thought that the demons had beautiful names. I figured that if "Gabriel" and "Michael" are two examples of spirits' names, I agree with them. Does anyone know any names?

I was in some kind of old and crude looking town in a forest, we were being held in that town, no one was allowed to leave it. Anyways, in order to scape that town, you had to challenge one of the elders. I did, it was this young woman, but had a witch look to her. She told me that the challenge was that we were going to be crucified and then fire was going to be lift beneath us, who survived longer, was the winner. My reward would be freedom for me and my friends. On the way to the crucifition place, I noticed many things, its was rather dramatic, I saw crosses of all kinds, black birds flying over head, people making bets on who the winner would be, then a wind came and blew leafs all over the place, I saw the crosses that we were going to be placed on, I kneel before my cross and prayed, while praying, I saw many people i know or knew pass by me, I prayed for quite a while, crying and thinking if i was going to survive. I felt the wind on my face and woke up.

I sleep fine. Sometimes I remember vague little parts of my dreams. So, I know that I do dream. But, I never remember my whole dreams.

Some moulavis in vapi and valsaad preach the muslim flock that there are veins in the earth and that are attached with strings and those strings are in the hands of "farishtas". So, when people do sins they pull the strings and earth-quake comes. A major muslim population in these areas is migrated from Bihar and they are illiterate. What to do ?

How do they explain all of the inaccuracies and failures of science? They regularly quote religious texts and cite inaccuracies, yet their beloved science at one time was adamant that the world was flat, the earth was the center of the universe, animals came from plants, etc.

How do they explain the mistakes of science and how are they any less of a joke than the religious contradictions they regularly cite?

What does it mean to experience dé·jà vu multiple times with the same situation. For example. I'll be sitting somewhere talking to some one and think. "I've been here before" then I think to myself "yes! I have definitely been here before because I can remember saying to myself ' I've been here before'!" Its like dé·jà vu to the 3 power or something...

anyone else have that happen to them, and what is it that i am experiencing, becuase by definition thats not really dé·jà vu?
