Judging from some of these answers, I'd have to say there must be a full moon right about now...

So the answer must be YES.

I've heard that police and other emergency personnel have more runs during a full moon, and hospital emergency rooms get more crowded. It happens on cloudy nights, too, so it can't be just an excuse to "get rowdy." The highest tides are during the full moon, since its pull on the Earth is strongest then, so maybe it's the moon's gravity that's affecting people too.

My sister works at a nursing home, and she insists that the patients do tend to get a little wilder at the time of the full moon. I've read somewhere (I do a lot of reading but don't remember where) that where we are made up of mostly water, that the moon effects us kind of like it effects the waves.

I think it gives people an excuse to be rowdy. People see a Full moon and tell themselves that it's okay to be bad because there's a full moon tonight. Same as Halloween. But Halloween is worse because of the anonimity factor.

Well look at it this way.. the human body by adulthood is 55-60% water (depending on gender) and if the moon can pull at the tides in the ocean and make them stronger on that night then it must also have the same effect on the body.

The human body is something like 60% water. It is well known that the pull of gravity from the moon affects the tides. So yes, it is quite possible that the pull of gravity from the moon on the human body and brain could affect behavior.

Some people say yes, some say no. I have heard some cops say things definitely get weirder around full moons. Here's my theory--the extra brightness makes it difficult for some people to sleep and people get weird, irritable, a little irrational without enough sleep. It doesn't have to keep many people up too long for it to have a noticeable effect, but its just my guess.

It is believed that the faces of the moon affected the behavior of man. And well the full moon brought out the "animal" inside.

Way too many people don't need a full moon for that.

It does make people feel different. It's due to the fact that people are mostly water and we like the tides are effected by the greater gravational pull of the moon.
