I sleep fine. Sometimes I remember vague little parts of my dreams. So, I know that I do dream. But, I never remember my whole dreams.

Could be you're not getting enough sleep, or you're not sleeping deeply enough. Waking up off and on through the night can cause most dreams to fade away.

If you want to dream, there's something very safe and natural you could try: melatonin. It will make you sleepy, so you have to take care using it, but everyone I know who takes it has frequent and vivid dreams. You could try it and see.

I am not sure why you don't remember your dreams, I know I don't remember most of mine. But I don't think dreams are that significant. In my opinion, a dream is a way for the human mind to take a ****- there has to be a release of everything that goes on in our head. With that said, does it really matter if you do or do not remember? probably not.

This is one serious answer. The reason you cannot remember your dreams is that you are not completely relaxed and fully asleep during R.E.M. sleep, the stage of sleep when dreams occur. You may be disturbed by night noises.
I myself can remember dreams from years ago as if I just had them the night before!

When you are dreaming, you are in your unconcious mind. Since your concious mind and your unconcious mind are separate, you do not remember what happens in your unconcious mind when you become concious. You remember your dream only for a few seconds after you wake up because that is the time when your body is switching between unconciousness and conciousness. During this time your concious mind may take in some of your dream. That is why you only remember very little.

Another reason I have heard is that your memory banks are not active when you are asleep. Your mind is resting.

If you don't remember your dreams thats a good sign. When you have a memorable dream its your mind trying to tell you that something is wrong.

You may have a bad recording head. You should clean it out for about a week with lots of fresh water, do not use alcohol as it can blur the pictures.

I have also heard that if you write the images down as soon as possible then recall becomes easier.

I've been told that if you lay still when you wake then it will help you remember. For me, as soon as my alarm clock goes off I raise up to turn the noise off. However, the one who told me this almost always remembers their dreams so it obviously works!!

Usually they are blocked by a medication you are taking. You can actually keep a dream log. Keep pen and paper by your bed and tell yourself to awaken and write down your dreams before you forget them and if you try, you can do it. It is called dream therapy and you can take your writing to a psychiatrist and have them interpreted. 2ND reason. You are crazy or evil.

Because your dreams are boring. That's why you were sleeping during them.
