A large and ancient wooden boat has been discovered high up a mountain near Mt Ararat. Test put it close to the time mentioned in the Bible.
A secondary object is also said to have been spotted by plane and satellite in a glacier upon Mt Ararat itself (don't ask me if Mt Ararat even has a glacier - I don't care).
Both these findings are listed as conclusive proof by some Christians that the Bible is 100% factual
Others see only the differences between the discoveries and what is mentioned in the Bible, saying that Noah's Ark has yet to be discovered.
These discoveries are not in accordance with the size mentioned in the Bible. Neither is the size mentioned in the Bible realistic (unless you take an interpretation based fantasy) for such an Ark.
Whether or not these are the Ark, and whether or not the Noah's Ark story is 100% factual will have to be dealt with by Christian pretty soon - the story is so exact that we will soon be able to verify it.
It is historically nearly conclusive that flooding occurred in the Middle East in man's ancient history, but the fundamentalist are going to have some explaining to do when we finally figure out the whole story.

There is a TV show about this on National Geographic, Discovery or History Channel. Watch TV schedules for it, since these shows are often repeated. I saw it twice. Until you do see it, I'll inform you that the show concludes the tale is fiction copied from the Sumerian tale of Utnapishtam; there is no geological evidence of a world flood; there is not enough water to flood the highest peaks; the Ark as described could not hold examples of all animals and would fall apart in the sea; a wooden ark would have rotted long ago and the satellite photos that seemed to show the Ark were misleading. There were many local floods on the Nile, Tigris and Euphrates. Someone exaggerated one of them to make a tale of a world flood. Noah's Ark cannot be discovered, for it did not really exist.

No. For quite some time, people could see a large shape on Mt. Ararat in Turkey which they thought could be the ark, but sharper satellite pictures have shown that it is just a rock outcropping. If it had been the ark, the glacier the shape was buried in would have broken it into pieces centuries ago. Also, the wood from the ark would have rotted away long ago.

Such claims have been made a number of cases in the past. the reality wood is of a undeniable age basically ability this is no longer excluded. this is no longer evidence.

Discovered what? There probably wasn't even such a thing - the Noah story is lifted right from the Sumerian tale of Gilgamesh which was long before Noah's time. And there are flood tales in other cultures as well. Its impossible to find something that doesn't exist.

Noah's Ark is mythology. It might have been made thousands of years ago.Probably only material available then was wood. The historical/mythological place it self has not been identified scientificaly.I think no wood or material stay intact for so long time.Discovery of Noah's Ark may be hoax.

It is located on Mount Ararat.
There have been many sightings, both by people and satellite. The measurements and characteristics of the gigantic boat that has been found there, are an exact description of the one built by Noah in the bible.
Do your research disbelievers :)

personally I think the ark was from a great flood 28,000 years ago when sea levels rose dramatically.
