I'm starting to learn Portuguese, and it's coming very easy to me, so I'm thinking that English is harder because I have (Brazilian) penpals that have been learning English for years and they still make many mistakes.

I'm not sure of what the difference is between sentences like the following ones:
I can't wait for the weekend to begin
I can't wait that the weekend begins
or...
I want you to bring me there
I want that you bring me there

Are all correct or not??
If yes, do they mean exactly the same or do you use them in different cases, for example to emphasize some aspects of the request?

Alright so I have Rosetta Stone installed along with German level 1 and 2, but here's the thing, how in god's name are you supposed to know what everything means in future units?

Because I don't think that you can extract that much meaning from one picture when given 3 sentences.

First of all, thanks to Circleoftopaz and Godislove for your input regarding my earlier question....

Actually the whole message in Swahili is;

"Nakupenda sana,
Jua langaa nikikuwaza,
na Mwezi huwa mwangavu pia,
usiku mwema mpenzi."

Any advice on the translation of the above? Many, many thanks for your help!!!!!
