I visit Malta about three times a year and would love to be able to speak Maltese. I am pretty good with languages and speak a little bit of this fantastic language.

How can I learn Maltese in the UK?

The little boy I babysit is nonverbal - and he tries to use sign language with me but I'm not very good at it - it's only occasional, but I'm pretty sure I'll need it at some point. I learned from his mother that he has been asking me to drive him to the store, too bad I can't drive! He signed to me on Monday something that looked like he was making two fists and hitting them together, the thumbs facing together... if that makes sense. He was having a breakdown at the time... yeah. I need help with this one!

do you see it? it says charlotte_de_allemagne and really I was just guessing because I know absolutely no french i'm sorry to say.

I based it on you know who, Charlotte de Monaco but when I look up allemagne sometimes it is written l'allemagne so i am now confused.

Obviously I'm trying to say Charlotte of Germany, can anyone help me? I hope I am right, please say i am right because I can't change it now lol :)

I really love learning languages currently learning french and spanish which I'm taking for GCSE.

I was just wondering about whether or not it would be a good idea to take these to a higher level, is it easy to get a career in languages? Also, would I have to stick with atleast 2 or even more ?

How many would I need to know to have a good career in it ?

thanksx

Hey, I'm 14 Korean and born and raised in the US.

I know how to speak Korean enough to keep a conversation going formally (adults, ect), not much so casually (Whats up, how is blank, ect)

I can't read or write Korean anymore, but could when I was a child.

Recently I noticed how important keeping in touch with heritage is, so I'm asking:

What is a good way to learn Korean and how to read + write it? My mother goes to work or is away all day, and my brother knows about as much Korean as I do. My father passed away, and I know nobody willing to teach me due to their schedule.

Thanks, I would be so happy if I could say I'm FLUENT in Korean rather than "I know some".

If memory serve me right, a lot of Frenchman could speak English well, but they hate to use it. do you know why?

I just learn something about Hundred Years War between France and Britain in 14 century.
A lot of people died in this war including French female hore Jean of Arc. therefore, when Frenchman wake up in the 4 o'clock and think about this war, they hate Englishman to die.

This is why they don't likes speak English in my opinion.
Am I right?

How would I finish this sentence in spanish?

En general voy/ no voy al cine con tal que...

I'm not sure I remember the meaning of "tal" when I look it up it says such but I don't think that's right and if I remember it has more meanings. Any ideas on how to finish the sentence in a logical (and gramatically correct) way? Thanks a lot!!
