The nearest similar sounding word would come out as SHARLEY, but obviously, I can't send you the correct Arabic spelling over a Roman script message format.

Remember that words in Arabic are written from right to left.

It is spelt the same I think, If you just substituted characters it would not mean Charlie. A nice thought though .

You can't get the "ch" sound, instead you will get an alteration which will be an "sh" pronunciation.

And it reads: Sharlie, close enough to Charlie.
