How would I finish this sentence in spanish?
En general voy/ no voy al cine con tal que...
I'm not sure I remember the meaning of "tal" when I look it up it says such but I don't think that's right and if I remember it has more meanings. Any ideas on how to finish the sentence in a logical (and gramatically correct) way? Thanks a lot!!

Con tal (de) que... = provided (that) / on condition that... So, "I usually only go to the movies provided it's not raining," En general voy al cine con tal que no esté lloviendo."

"con tal que"/"con tal de que" is used to give an exemption to doing something.
using your own example, "En general voy al cine con tal de que no este haciendo frio", which means "In general I go to the movies only when it is not cold"
or "En general yo voy al cine con tal de que mi hermano vaya conmigo", which means "In general i go to the movies only if my brother comes with me".

I think that you may be trying to say "In general I don't go to the movies." in that case you would say " En general no voy al cine." Your question isn't that clear. I really don't get it.
