Hey, currently my nephew needs to translate these two English paragraphs into Spanish. He is learning Affirmative and Negative commands, such as Affirmative to play is Juega, and Negative to play is Jueges. Each paragraph must contain 5 positive commands, and 5 negative commands.

1) First, in order to be a good student, you must always do your homework. Second, you must always pay attention in class. Third, you must always get to class on time. Fourth, you must always take notes in class. However, you must never talk in class unless you are called on. You also must never leave your homework at home. You must always be prepared for class. Also, you must never eat or chew food or gum in class. You almost must never say bad things to the teacher, or say that he is boring. Finally, you must never fail a class.

Thanks.. There will be a part 2 to this question so I can have enough room to write my second paragraph.

I found that some people from africa and asia countries don't say "thank you", but say "thanking you" instead, is that an unformal use?

I'm a foreigner.

Please justify your answer. Mine would probably be 'stunning' which is massively overused and has just about completely lost its meaning...
