Please justify your answer. Mine would probably be 'stunning' which is massively overused and has just about completely lost its meaning...

Nice: it gets used too often. There are so many other words we can use to describe whatever it is we describing. But to say that the weather is nice and this tastes nice and that looks nice. Damn people, with so many wonderful words, lets be a little less "nice" and a bit more interesting.

i hate the word retard

it is used out of its original context now and is thrown around too lightly, the same as the word spastic. spastic came from a society set up many years ago, and had to change its name due to the misuse of the word.

these are the worst words in english, and so very hurtful!

Its more american than English, but the use of 'regular' on fast food menus etc really annoys me. We expect phrases like 'regular guy' etc on cheep american imports, but how many of us in the U.K. talk like that?
Try going into macdonalds and asking for a small coke, the conversation usually goes something like this-
'I'll have a small coke please'
'we don't do small, just regular medium and large'
'is regular the smallest size?'
'yes'
'then its a small coke'
'no its a regular coke, we dont serve small portions of anything,
what follows is usually a expletive filled rant from me firstly about the oxford dictionaries definition of 'regular' which means 'consistent, conforming to a rule or principle' and then about the americanisation of the English language.
Then they usually start laughing at me when I blame the youth for bastardizing our language.
p.s. I am aware that in recent years the oxford dictionary has modified its entry under 'regular' to reflect modern usage.

C.U.N.T or "See you next tuesday"

I think that this word is disgusting, highly offensive and considerably worse than the F word. It's very pronunciation is harsh and unpleasant and I have only ever known disgusting chav's (as opposed to decent chav's - y'all know what i mean here) use the word in daily conversation.

Cool. That's, like, so uncool man!

I take it back. Eifionrefail, below, is right in that the misuse of "wicked" is the greatest abomination in the language.

Wicked...to mean..great
If someone told me
"That's a wicked thing to do"... how would I know whether I'd done something good or bad."
Keep these words for the meaning they were meant.
How did wicked get to mean great anyhow??
