Familia mea in Hymetto et Spartae habitabat. Ibi in Graecia in schola eram et linguam Graecam bene studui. Mox in urbem Romam advent. Linguam Latinam industria magna studebam. Tibi fabulam Graecam incipio.

Ad Thessaliam iter faciebam - trans montes duros et valles et herbam et campos. Equus albus meus tarde movit. Tum in terram desilui et equum fricui et aures permulsi. Frenos detraxi et ambulavi dum in campo equus pastus est.

Et dum equus meus edebat, ambulatories duos vidi. Conversationem audivi: “Verba tua sunt falsa.” Virum petivi et respondi: “Fabulam tuam mihi dic.”

Barbarus risit: “Vero mendacious verum est - si magico flumina celeria mutare directionem possunt, mare ligari potest, venti exspirari possunt, sol inhiberi potest, luna in terra poni potest, stellae a caelo capi possunt, dies obscurus faci potest, et nox semper continuare potest.”

Acriter dixi: “Reliquam fabulam tu mihi narra.”

Barbarus respondit: “Tibi gratias ago. Fabula haec est.”

A Sole, deo qui vidit, omnia vera sunt. Audite. Graecus sum. Facio iter per Thessaliam ad Aetoliam Boeotiamque. Mellem vel caseum vel cibum alterum vendo.

Hypatam, quae civitas major Thessaliae est, adveni. Fortuna ibi vespera ad balneas publicas procedebam. Amicus meus Socrates sedebat in terra. Erat miser. Tenuis erat similis mendicabulo.

“Socrates, quid est? Quae facis?” interrogavi.

Respondit, “Fortunam malam habeo.”

Ego aecidium dedi amico meo. Novas vestes dedi. Manibus meis balneas et cibos amico servivi. Ad tavern am eum dui. Lectum meum donavi.

Mihi Socrates dixit: “Heu, me miserum. Latrones pecuniam meam ceperunt. Ad casam adveni. Meroe in casa habitavit. Antiqua, non ingrata, sed vero Meroe maga est!”

If you call me native of spanish, you would be stupid. I never speak in any language cause i'm shy and i've always been, I don't do anything social..and i'm a loner. I don't understand why White people who i meet in the street, (bus stop etc)If I don't respond with a long discussion or outgoing personality, they immediately assume I don't speak english and that i must speak spanish. They say something like( A is white person, B is me)
A: Hello do you have the time?
B: uh?
A: Tiempo hermano

So yu see, i say uh, because i don't hear. or i might respond quietly and in a shy manner.. and they immediately go to spanish

People tend to think if you are from a certain country, you are a native speaker of the language/s used in that country. Example: Americans--> You must be a Native English speaker.

But that's stupid cause some of us don't even speak anything. Some of us are shy, antisocial and never open our mouths. I don't. Im' 27, and i suck at speaking . I've never had friends or anyone to discuss topics at length, so i don't speak and i don't know how to speak. So,

When people ask "What's your mother tongue?" .. or "Are you a native speaker?"... Those questions make me angry. Why do we have to be natives of anything.

So, i usually say "I'm speak nothing" and people are puzzled.

why wont they let you speak correctly in your own accent ie welsh , irish scottish etc, are elecutionist as pig headed as the grammar correctors on here, apparently if you say i jus burnt my @ss it dont matter tho, they cant understand what you say unless they correct it too, "i just burnt my rear end, it does not matter though".is this what your asking your grammar is sooo bad i do not understand the question??? and dont you just hate that lol i know im a cheapskate ive just asked 3 questions in one for the cost of 1 q
