Sakura. it reminds me of spring and flowers. This tree blossoms really, really beautiful

Sakura, because Lotus sounds a bit pretentious if the name is for a person. It would be like being named Sojourner, Serenity or something New Agey like that. Also, Lotus is a symbol for Buddhism, which is a wonderful philosophy, but much too keen on self-annihilation for my liking.

Sakura - coz it sounds dainty, pretty and graceful, just like the flower of the same name.
Lotus reminds me of the computer application and the car.

I think Sakura...just because it it less common
in US and UK usage. Lotus would be OK for
a guy. Sakura sounds nice in my ear for either sex.
