"Wordprinting" is the name of the process by which forensic linguists match a person's writing style to a piece of writing. Each person has a distinct writing style, and forensic linguists can therefore determine whether a person authored a text by comparing it to other texts that person has written. They can also determine how many people wrote one text.

The English term is a play on the concept of "fingerprinting".

The question: How would you render "wordprinting" in Spanish? If you know the term for "fingerprinting" that would be helpful.

I am just curious, since they sound and are spelled similar. For example, Desi Arnez' most famous role was "Ricky Ricardo." I saw an Italian's last name being "Picardo." The pronounciation of the names may be different, but they both could be Italian OR Spanish.
