When I was visiting Canada back in July I met a lot of people that were French speakers, and so a question dawned to me. What does French from Canada, or Quebec sound like compared to that of France or Europe?? Are there any differences in the way they talk, pronounce, spell, etc.?? Is it anything like the difference between Brit and American English or Spain and Latin America?? Anyone who is a French speaker, I'd like to hear their opinions.

I know that many Americans can speak mutiple languages. I myself can speak English and German, but why do you think that a good portion of American citizens can only speak English? Not enough time? too busy? don't care? What would you say the long term effects are, if there are any?

I think we would all agree that these are the only one's we have in the English language '2', 'to' and 'too'. So how would I write the question "There are three types of (two, to, too) in the English language". Which (two,to,too) do I use in this case?

If I ever let love blind me so that I choose to lounge around in bed with my loved one instead of going off to war, then you can let a housewife use my helmet as a frying pan.
