While I understand that not everyone celebrates Christmas, I still tell people Merry Christmas. Not random people, but people I make contacnt with (ie. the bag boy who carries my items to the car, the teller in the check-out line, etc)
So here is my question. Do you tell people Merry Christmas? If you don't, what do you say? If you don't celebrate Christmas, do you get offended if someone wishes you a Merry Christmas? Should we say Happy Holidays instead? Should we say anything at all or treat it as just another day?
I'm not trying to push my religion onto others, I take saying "Merry Christmas" to others as wishing them the best during the Holiday season. If someone where to say to me "Happy Hanukkah" I'd reply "thank you, you too"
See what I mean? So what are your thoughts?
