Just exactly who is Aberham lincoln?
I know Abraham did not start the tradition.

It's Abraham not "Aberham." It was in fact Abraham Lincoln who signed into law that we hold a day of National Thanksgiving in November, but other presidents also had a hand in this down through the ages, with George Washington being one of them.

Governors in each state set a day aside for Thanksgiving. They were all on different days. Abraham Lincoln made a national proclamation for the nation to give thanks on the 4th Thursday of every November. This was so that everyone would celebrate at the same time, bringing the nation together at a difficult time in history.
