That will depend on them, not on you. I wouldn't worry about it. Just celebrate Christmas the way you prefer. I am a Christian and I plan on doing things the way I usually do. Celebrating a religious holiday should not offend anyone. Last year was a little
strange with the attempts to "take Christ out of Christmas", but I think things are turning around a little. Wal-Mart has announced that they are returning to calling Christmas "Christmas" again. That's a positive sign.

I really don't think that non-Christian citizens were getting offended in the first place. It was public schools, merchandise businesses, corporations, et cetera who were overly concerned that they *might* offend someone. Some went to such a ridiculous extreme that they did end up offending someone - the Christians.

Let's hope that this year everyone is tolerant and respectful of each other's religious holidays.

Merry Christmas!

Who cares about offending others about Christmas. It is your choice! I will celebrate it without worrying about it. I am a Christian and celebrate Jesus Birth! ;o)

Depends on how hard you are trying to offend people.

Giving the defensive tone of your post, it looks like you are going to be one of those people who spends the entire holiday season daring anyone to be offended, so that you can satisfy yourself that you are a persecuted traditionalist.

If you have that attitude, it's virtually guaranteed that someone will at some point accept your challenge and be offended.

I guess it depends on what you normally do for christmas? Do you normally have a big family celbration? is there a reason you don't want to celbrate christmas this year?

If you really don't want to celbrate christmas this year just explain to who ever you normally spend christmas with that this year you have made other plans and will catch up with them at a later date... this has worked for me in the past with my family!
