I have been searching on EBay and Google for ages, and all I can find is the 'Phantom.' I don't need a wig or anything, just a dress.

My 4year old daughter has decided she wants to be a bat for Halloween. Tried the batman batgirl thing but she's not buying it. SHe wants to be a regular bat.
Any ideas for how to construct a costume? I'm not that handy with a sewing machine and I don't want to spend a small fortune on a costume.

Here are the reasons why he should get extra candy:
>i get some
>we are going to squirt katchup on his shirt so it looks like blood stains.
>He can do an awesome impression

Is it silly to place them at your entry at halloween? Or is it just like picking flowers from your garden and placing them on your dinning table? (I know this is a silly question, but why not!)

I am writing a cookbook for my job, and we are centering it around cultural holidays. I would appreciate any suggestions for holidays that we could feature, especially if you know of any lesser-known holidays or holidays where traditional food is served.

I just watched the movie WHITE BALLOON, all about the goldfish needed for a family's new year's celebration. Along with gifts and food, you were supposed to have a family goldfish. Anyone know the meaning/origin of this? Is it just Iranian, or a Muslim custom, too? Thanks, for any goldfish lore..........

I am writing a cookbook for my job, and it centers around multicultural holidays. I would like to include something from the Jewish faith, and I want it to be accurate and something that is meaningful to the community.

I ask this question in a spirit of respect, and I would really appreciate it if all who answered did the same.

Had a party last year and the radio station was playing Halloween themed songs. Then all of a sudden Jingle Bells started playing at 12:01. If you ask me takes away from the hoilday because when you start that early you get sick of it by the time it finally comes. Two months of Christmas come on
