I have been searching on EBay and Google for ages, and all I can find is the 'Phantom.' I don't need a wig or anything, just a dress.

**I don't live near a lot of stores, so it is hard for me to find the time (and money, with gas prices) to trek down to more populated areas where there would be some. I prefer an online purchase, hence the details to my question...

You should go to treasuresonearth.com or go to their Ebay Store that's where I had my Christine Point of No Return costume made .
It's really good quality and I have gotten a thousand compliments when I wear it.
They also own a few of the originals from the movie so they know exactly what they are supposed to look like.

if you are talking about when she sings the first song where she has those huge rocks in her hair, i would suggest asking friends or their moms if they have an older hoopskirt that you could use for the night. it wouldnt have to be identical to the one she wore in the movie, as im quite sure that you would get the point across, especially to anyone who has seen the phantom as often as i watch it.
good luck tho!!
on another note, start checking yard sales and thrift shops, maybe even a consignment shop, then after halloween, take it back to the consignment shop and resell it.
you could also make a "hoop" out of a few straps of material and a "hula hoop" by making a "belt" that ties in front out of one strap, then maybe 4 straps, same length, to tie to the belt and the hula hoop, and voila, instant hoopskirt, then you just need a full length skirt, and youre done.
then again, there is always ebay....

I'm making mine, the music of the night one. Which one are you planning on making? Some of them look easy enough to make, like the music of the night thing. It's only a lace robe with a tie on the side.

You would have enough time between now and Halloween, but it would take energy and patience and it might cost a bit. I hope I helped, and good luck!
