Gift cards --saying, "I just want money" is kind of sleezy, but with a gift card, you are telling the person, "I really appreciate that you want to buy me a gift, but I am not exactly sure what I want, so why don't you give me this handy little card with the amount that you feel most comfortable giving me, and then I can choose my gift at my own leisure when I see something I want" --and then you can get something really awesome that you're sure to like!
