I was driving home to get ready for my husband,all i saw here on the net woman most of them nagging about the gifts, the attension,. Well ladies you wanted to be equel, then do it. my husband worked with olnly one day off and he is do this for us, so i am making a nice brisket with mashed potatots and green beens , rolls. I also went and bound a fondo for chocklet,bannans and starberyys , little red teddy incase he is tired that wake him up, so i am going to take care of him tonight , in two weeks we have a room in santa barbara for 4 days just to get away.i have a great husband cuz i dont nag

Ok, so 2007 Valentines Day comes around and he does nothing! Been together 3 yrs now - I came from a single life & into an instant family with 2 kids. We never really had a chance to be a couple. So I make the effort, not just on Valentines Day but everyday - thats how it should be.
BUT at the end of the day its nice, warm & fuzzy to be remembered on Valentines Day.
So I write deep & meaning stuff in a card, get a bear and leave it on the bed before I leave for work - whoop-de-do! I get a 'thankyou, that was most unexpected'
THEN after work I give him his real gift - an elusive wall-hanging we had wanted for ages & I managed to get.
To top it off I picked up his favourite magazine so he could relax & read.
What did I get??? NOTHING... ZILICH
And he just used the line 'I dont feel I need to send you flowers on Valentines day, it should be whenever'
Trouble is...... there has NEVER been a WHENEVER!
Why? Why, do men do that? Whats their logic?

I got a verbal "Happy Valentine's" from my husband this morning on the phone (he works out of state and we talk on his way in to work), but no card, no flowers, no email, etc. I am pretty hurt. Is this bad?

Today is Valentines day, And i feel absalutly wonderful.
I get to come home to a nice relaxing comfortable house,
Don't need to worry about if i got the write gift or if i will say the write things.
and deffenatly won't get into a fight or argument with anyone.

on valentines day today for some i was really sad, i am in 8th grade and everyone in my 3rd period had big bags and teddy bears and cards and i didn't get anything i got some "carnations" wich is like a flower that u send to someone for a dollar from my best friend but is i walked down the halls passing to each class it seemed everybody had something and had a valentine but me, i just felt so terrible and im sure some one here is in middle school and they prob know what its like my other friends that this happened to said they ignore it and all thru out the day everyone was asking me what wrong but i just felt so deppressed this is an open ended quesiton so u can post a comment or anything u want thnks =(
