We had businesses and schools close where I live, so I am wondering how people celebrated Valentine's Day.

The closings were due to snow and ice, not in observance of Valentine's Day :)

Mine was okay, but then my husband came home and said, "Do you know what today is?". I said yes, Valentine's day. We had already exchanged gifts and cards, and then he said, "But what else is it?" I said Wednesday. He said, "Yeah, but what is Wednesday?". He said, "HUMP DAY!!! Valentine's is finally on HUMP DAY!!!!". Anyway, you may or may not think that was funny, but I did. My husband bought me a month of tanning bed visits and a dozen roses. I got him $20 steaks and a singing heart. I had a pretty good one. How bout you?

We too, also had snow, ice, & freezing rain where I live.

While the office where I work was closed due to the weather, my Husband's office was open for business, so he went to work. I didn't think that we were going to do anything for Valentine's Day (by the way, he, like most men, HATES this "holiday").

He surprised me by coming home very early from work and he brought me a Valentine's Day present. I was very touched, especially since I didn't expect anything.

I hope that you had a lovely Valentine's Day.

Have a lovely rest of the evening.

Well first of all this is the most depressing V-day I've had yet, it is raining like no other here and I like this guy so much when I'm not around him I'm depressed! Happy Valentines Day from me, a perfect stranger! Hope yours is better than mine, spread the love!

Great, even though I didn't get a valentine, but that's alright. I was overjoyed when schools closed today.

like any other. Valentine's Day is proof enough that for people like me who haven't learned from history, they are doomed to repeat it.

Mine was ok. Me and my man went out to the mall. I bought him a gold ring. Not really romantic. My present was my name tattooed in his wrist!
