Definately. I am divorced...my ex was an abuser...I am just fine on my own. I don't need to worry about anything setting someone off. I have my own permanent Valentine...my son...he was born on Valentine's day 21 years ago.
My Valentine's Day is just great. I can do what I want when I want without getting a fist in my face or a knife in my back.

Yes. Oh, gawd yes! Last year's V-Day was miserable for me. I love being single. I wonder just how long it'll take me before I start to feel lonely. I've been single for a year, and I can still remember all the hastles of couplehood.

My life has changed for the better, since he went out of my life. I'm better with my money. I have more hobbies. My panic attacks have decreased by a lot. And I'm starting to act more of an adult. He was a pretty bad influence on me. And oh yes, I have lost a good amount of weight. He was such a fat ***! And it's a relief to not have to worry about my fertility. Well, I could go on and on about why I'm so glad to be single. But it basically all amounts to the same thing. Liberty.

It's surprisingly calm and relaxing. I'm not happy to be single again but I am relieved. Yeah and you know what? You have a good point about not worrying about the right gifts and words. Also it's nice to just be myself and have noone else to answer to or accomodate.

Nope, actually I am ecstatic that my husband and I hit it off so well, and that he's in my life! Valentine's day is soooo much better with him around. I see your point about being single and all, but deep inside, everybody needs somebody, and you will soon be lonely....Happy valentine's day!!!!
