AS I BEGAN COOKING THAT ONCE A YEAR FEAST...
MY TROUBLES BEGAN WHEN I LEFT OUT THE YEAST!
THE TURKEY, POTATOES, AND 4 KINDS OF PIES...
I KEPT CHECKING THE BREAD,BUT IT JUST WOULDN'T RISE!
I LEANED OVER THE COUNTER TO REACH FOR MY DRINK,
WHEN THE WHOLE PAN OF GRAVY FELL INTO THE SINK!
WITH DINNER HALF DONE, AND 5 TRIPS TO THE STORE...
WHAT ELSE COULD GO WRONG, I CAN'T TAKE ANYMORE!
THE TIMER WAS SET OVER 3 HOURS AGO,
FOR THE TURKEY, POTATOES, AND P I E S .... "OH NO"!
I RAN TO THE OVEN TO OPEN THE DOOR, WHEN SMOKE FILLED THE ROOM,
I THEN FELL TO THE FLOOR!
I FINALLY CAME TO 1/2 HOUR LATER, WHEN ALL THAT WAS
LEFT WAS BURNT BIRD AND A TATER!
SO, NEXT TIME YOU ASK, HOW DID YOU DO?
THIS LUCK I FOUND HERE, IT COULD HAPPEN TO YOU!!!

I am originally from the east coast, and it just surprises me how strange the people are over here. Back in the east coast, people take EVERYDAY holiday seriously and the streets are all decorated and everything. Maybe it is just California?

I text my ex boyfriend to wish him a Happy Thanksgiving so he is going to text me back and say thanks from my wife and me. He did not even say Happy Thanksgiving back. At first I was mad because he said thanks from my wife and me but I started to text him back and fuss with him because I guess he mean to say that to make me jealous, but I didn't, but should I have done that?

What I mean is do they go to church, have dinner with family, ... I've always been wondering since I've never celebrated an "American" Christmas.
