I'm Scottish and we dont celebrate Thanksgiving but happy Thanksgiving to all of you who do. I hope it goes well and you are all happy and loved.
I may not celebrate Thanksgiving but I have a lot to be thankful for. Here are a few things.
I'm thankful for my son. He is my wee sunshine and he is a wonderful child who I can watch turning into a wonderful man over the coming years.
I'm thankful for my boyfriend/future husband. He loves me like noone ever has. He has patience and understanding. He is strong and smart and makes me feel safe and protected. We are a great team and I am thankful that he lets me love him back just as much.
I'm thankful for my family and the time I get to spend wth them, particularly my grandfather who is physically ill and also showing early signs of dementia. I look after him everyday and am thankful that I can do that for him and for me.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
Karma.

It's not Thanksgiving today here in Canada, but I'm certainly very thankful for many things. I am very thankful for my friends and family. I am thankful for food, clothing and a roof over my head. I am thankful to have a job I enjoy and enough money to get by. I am especially thankful for my wonderful fiance. Happy Thanksgiving to all the Americans and I wish everyone a good day.

For openers, for waking up above ground! Do your eyes, legs and arms all function, without issues? Millions are not so lucky! Not to omit, have them all!
Do you have access to food, clean drinking water? Millions and millions more do not!
Don't get hooked up on Things that are or not present in your life!
There is no thing that you can buy that will give you happiness!
Comfort, yes, joy, OK. Try buying honest, true love!
Try buying a healthy body, or a TRUE friend. Try buying sanity when nature has taken it away from you.
You say you have worked hard and earned what you have! But how was it possible that you had the required health to support that work? You did not chose where you would be born and into which family.
Without, not having perished during or after birth, you could not enjoy family! Had the birth completed but your eyes, hearing or mentality failed to function how you should enjoy family.
And, had the ugliness of man taken your family away, how should you enjoy them?
Many, many issues had to take place for you to be able to enjoy your family! Give thanks for your family, more over, give thanks for all that did and did not take place so that you are with your family and able to give thanks!
I love you, not because I know you or don't know you, but because you are a person, and like all of us, we need each other love! I am The Mad Man!

On this Thanksgiving day I am ok, very thankful for many blessings that the Lord has given me.
I am most of all thankful for my family and good health.
I am additionally thankful that Thanksgiving dinner is done and the dishes are washing in the dishwasher.
I am also thankful for this unseasonably warm weather, because my husband is outside decking the house with tons of lights, fa la la la la, la la la la!
I am also, finally, thankful for yahoo answers.
